Summary

For this project I was tasked with finding an article related to podcasts and make a podcast reviewing the article. Additionally it served as a production assignment that covered everything from pre-production to post production. Additionally, the document that accompanies the podcast discusses a needs analysis, design, goal, mood/perspective, and also includes a self evaluation.

Reflection

I never really understood how much work goes into a podcast before having done one myself. While there were some bumps, this was an enjoyable and genuinely memorable experience. So much so that I have actually incorporated podcasts into my daily drive to work. What's odd to me is that I never really hear of anyone else doing the same. Podcasts can cover literally just about anything provided there's an audience willing to listen to the content, which is why I'm shocked that I actually don't know another person that enjoys listening to podcasts. Regardless, podcasts have proven their worth in my eyes. As I previously mentioned, their applications are virtually limitless, assuming their content has an audience. I would definitely consider these a valuable resource for both teachers and businesses alike!
