Employs the central concepts, tools of inquiry, and structure of the discipline of instructional technology and creates an environment conducive to effective integration of technology into the school curriculum.

Summary

An interactive PowerPoint that makes use of clever PowerPoint techniques to create an interactive experience for the user. By coupling words, graphics, interactivity and spacial awareness, this brief learning module seeks to intrigue and entertain its audience and ultimately quiz them on what they learn. This sort of module can be applicable in a variety of ways both inside and outside the classroom. For example, while modules such as this could be used to teach simple concepts inside the classroom, they could also be used to train an employee on procedure in the workplace.

Reflection

All in all, this project was an absolute joy to work on. I have always been a fan of modules such as this, so to have the opportunity to create one myself got me excited. However, what was even more exciting was this module taking first place in the media fair! I was overjoyed to find out that users enjoyed interacting with my module as much as I did creating it. The beauty of projects such as this is that their implementation is virtually limitless, whether it be used as a learning module to teach students concepts in fun and interesting ways, or be it used in an office to train new employees on regulation and procedure.
